Audit Log

The activity trail of a Lebanese food distributor’s back office: every change to invoices, stock, staff, customers, settings and permissions, with who made it, when and from where. Filter by person, action, record type, date or a day on the activity chart, search any value, open a before-and-after diff, restore an old value with a confirmation, step back through a record’s history and preview an export.

Use the Live / Loading / Empty / Error switch at the top to see every state.

Why it matters

When a price, salary or credit limit looks wrong, the owner sees exactly who changed it and can put the old value back in seconds — with the restore itself logged, sensitive changes flagged and a tamper-evident seal that proves nothing in the trail was edited afterwards.

How it works

  1. 01Every save writes an event with the before and after value of each field, the person, IP and device; sensitive changes (salaries, unit costs, permissions, deletions, exports) are flagged automatically.
  2. 02Filters, search and the 30-day activity chart narrow the trail; opening an event shows a field-by-field diff (word-level for text) and what each field holds now, and Restore asks for confirmation — plus a reason for sensitive data — before writing a new event.
  3. 03Each record has a timeline you can step through to see it as it was at any point; events are chained with SHA-256 so “Verify integrity” catches any stored event that was altered, and exports to CSV or JSON are logged too.
