Advanced Product Filters

A 24-product catalogue with faceted filters for category, price (dual slider over a price histogram), colour swatches, size, rating and in-stock. Active filters show as removable chips, counts update live, the grid re-sorts with smooth FLIP animation and the whole state lives in the URL so a filtered view can be shared.

Why it matters

Shoppers narrow a big catalogue to the right few products in seconds, and zero-result dead ends are replaced by one-tap suggestions — fewer exits from category pages, more product views.

How it works

01Every facet shows how many products it would return given the other active filters, and options that would return nothing are dimmed.
02Results animate to their new positions (FLIP) when filters or sort change; removed products fade out and new ones fade in.
03Filter and sort state is written to the URL hash, so the back button, refresh and shared links reopen the exact same view.
