SHIFTLINE

A live plant floor with honest OEE: every stop, reason and reject moves the numbers.

What it does

SHIFTLINE runs the morning shift of a plastics and packaging plant in the Bekaa: two injection moulders, a blown-film extruder, a CNC toolroom, two packing lines, a palletiser and the air compressor, drawn as a top-down floor that pulses with each machine's state. OEE is computed from the shift's own run time, counts and rejects, so stopping a machine, choosing a reason code, logging rejects or completing a work order changes availability, performance, quality and the loss Pareto on the spot. Machine telemetry and the EDL/generator switch-overs are simulated.

Signature interaction

Click a moulder on the live floor, press Stop, let the downtime timer run, tag it as a jam and resume: the OEE gauge, its three factors, the loss Pareto and the line's output all recompute from the shift data.

What works in it

  • Top-down SVG plant floor with live machine states and part counters
  • OEE per machine and plant: availability × performance × quality with the formula shown
  • Stop a machine, run the downtime timer, pick a reason code, resume
  • Loss Pareto and shift timeline that update while a machine is down
  • Production orders with BOM check, release, start with changeover and complete with backflush
  • Reject logging by defect type that moves good units to scrap
  • In-process checks with control charts and out-of-spec alerts
  • Andon board and alert inbox with acknowledge and undo
  • EDL cut and generator switch-over simulation with energy split
  • Maintenance requests raised from a machine
  • Signed shift handover report with notes for the next shift
  • Editable reason codes, OEE target and scrap limit
