File Uploads

A job-file manager for an appliance service company in Jounieh: drag and drop several files at once, see instant previews, get a clear reason when a file is the wrong type or too large, and follow every upload with pause, resume and retry. Files can be reordered, renamed and filed into folders.

Why it matters

Technicians send complete, well-organised job evidence from the field (site photos, warranty cards, invoices and signed forms), and a weak connection never means starting a large upload from scratch.

How it works

01Drop files anywhere on the page or browse: each one is checked for type, size, duplicates and storage quota, and anything refused is listed with the exact reason.
02Uploads run on a simulated network (Fiber, 4G or weak 3G) in resumable 256 KB chunks; pause, resume, drop the connection or hit a server timeout, and a retry continues from the last confirmed chunk.
03Drag the handle or use the arrow keys to reorder, rename inline with validation, move files to a folder from the menu or by dropping them on it, and preview photos, spreadsheets and text in a lightbox. Files you add stay in the tab's memory only.
