WhatsApp Inbox

A shared WhatsApp Business inbox for a Beirut café team: every chat in one list with unread counts and labels, assignment to teammates, quick replies whose variables fill from the chat and its order, internal notes with @mentions, an order lookup card beside the conversation and a live 24-hour reply-window indicator. Incoming messages are simulated on the page.

Use the Live / Loading / Empty / Error switch at the top to see every state.

Why it matters

The whole team answers from one number without stepping on each other: every chat has an owner, answers go out in seconds with the right order details, and nobody misses WhatsApp's 24-hour rule — when the window closes, the inbox switches to approved templates instead of failing silently.

How it works

  1. 01Customers' WhatsApp messages land in one list; filter by Mine, Unassigned, label or search by name, phone or order number, and assign each chat to a teammate in two clicks.
  2. 02Type / to pull a quick reply — {{first_name}}, {{order_id}}, {{driver}} and {{eta}} are filled from the chat and its linked order, and anything that can't be filled blocks sending until you complete it. Notes stay internal and @mention teammates.
  3. 03The order card shows status, items and driver next to the chat; the window pill counts down the 24 hours since the customer's last message and, once it closes, only approved templates can be sent until the customer replies.
